Nick Bell Mississippi State Underwent Surgery


Nick Bell Mississippi State Surgery: on Monday underwent surgery after diagnosis of cancer. Nick Bell initial cancer concerns were caused by headaches in September. In October, tests revealed a mass Nick Bell had collected on his brain. On October 1, Nick Bell underwent surgery to remove the mass. Subsequent testing determined the growth from skin cancer. But on Sunday, Nick Bell learned his cancer had spread.

Yesterday, Nick Bell has undergone emergency surgery in Birmingham to remove the cancer, its location is not revealed to the news. Today, Bell is at rest and Critical Care confirms agents of the State of Mississippi.

Team officials say fifty players will visit the Nick Bell of the University of Alabama-Birmingham Hospital in the coming days. Head coach Dan Mullen has issued the following statement about his defensive end today.

"Late last night we received a call from the mother of Nick Bell, who informed us that Nick Bell had suffered a setback in his battle against cancer. He underwent emergency surgery this morning and is currently in intensive care UAB.

"Megan and I had the opportunity to visit Nick Bell this afternoon and told the team about his condition during a team meeting when we returned. A group of about 50 we travel back to Birmingham this evening to spend time with Nick Bell and his family tonight.

"We ask that everyone keeps Nick Bell and his family in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time."
