She tells about her profession that call center industry has grown by leaps and bounds in recent years, with many multinational companies outsourcing their customer service/contact functions to third parties located in other countries and regions all over the world, including the Middle East. This is called BPO or business process outsourcing, and the growth of this sector of the information technology industry includes call center jobs in Dubai.
Bushra more tells that a few years ago there were labor disputes relating to salaries of call center agents working in Dubai, but conditions seem to have improved since then. If you browse the online job boards and the sites of international recruitment agencies, you’ll see that there’s no shortage of calls for applicants for call center positions in Dubai and elsewhere in the UAE.
